The Road Ahead: Welcoming Aither Health & Honoring the Star Clutch Legacy
At GR Aetherwing eMotorsports, the start of a new season is always about more than just fresh liveries and faster lap times—it’s about the people and partners who make our pursuit of excellence possible. Today, we have two significant updates to share regarding the evolution of our team and our sister-team, Star Clutch Racing.
A New Standard of Care: Aither Health Joins the Team
We are incredibly proud to announce that Aither Health has officially become the Official Healthcare Partner of GR Aetherwing.
In competitive eMotorsports, the difference between the podium and the back of the pack often comes down to mental clarity and physical endurance. Aither Health is a leader in healthcare transparency and innovation, and their mission aligns perfectly with our tech-forward approach to racing.
Through this partnership, our drivers will have access to the resources they need to maintain peak performance. From our 2026 car liveries to our team apparel, the Aither Health brand will be a core part of the GR Aetherwing identity as we chase the championship this year.
Putting Community First: The Twitch Transition
Over the past two months, we’ve been honored to have Twitch as part of the GR Aetherwing roster. It has been an incredible experience collaborating with the world’s leading live-streaming platform to bring our fans closer to the action.
However, as we looked toward the long-term future of our organization, we recognized something important. Twitch has been a cornerstone and primary partner of Star Clutch Racing since their inception. The "Purple Platform" is woven into the very fabric of the Star Clutch community.
In an effort to preserve that unique legacy and ensure both teams have a distinct, powerful identity, we have decided that Twitch will remain the primary sponsor for Star Clutch Racing.
"While we enjoyed having Twitch under the GR Aetherwing banner recently, we realized that their home is with Star Clutch. We didn’t want to take that history away from them. It’s the right move for the fans, the drivers, and the spirit of the sport." — GR Aetherwing Management
A Unified Vision for 2026
This move strengthens both sides of our racing family. GR Aetherwing takes a bold step forward with the support of Aither Health, while Star Clutch Racing continues to build on its deep-rooted partnership with Twitch.
We want to thank our fans for their continued support during this transition. Whether you’re cheering for Aetherwing or Star Clutch, we are one community, and the best is yet to come.
Back to the Future: GR Aetherwing joins the NASCAR Safety Kleen Series
Date: January 22, 2026
Category: Team News, Series Announcements
We are thrillingly announcing that GR Aetherwing eMotorsports will officially compete in the upcoming season of the NASCAR Safety Kleen Series.
While the world moves forward, sometimes the best racing is found by looking back. This series features the iconic NASCAR Gen 6 Cup cars—machines known for their distinct body lines, raw power, and the demanding driving style required to keep them off the wall.
For GR Aetherwing, this is more than just a new series; it’s an opportunity to showcase our adaptability. The Gen 6 platform is famous for being aero-sensitive yet rewarding to those who can manage tire wear and momentum. We are eager to put our virtual TRD Camrys to the test against some of the fiercest competition in the sim racing community.
The Roster:
We are fielding a dynamic four-car lineup, mixing strategic minds with pure aggression. Here is who will be behind the wheel of the GR Aetherwing Camrys:
#18 — Nico
The Strategist. Nico brings the tactical awareness needed to navigate long green-flag runs and chaotic restarts. Expect the #18 to be in the right place at the right time when it counts.
#28 — Wispy
The Dark Horse. The driver the grid shouldn't sleep on. Wispy is on a mission to prove the doubters wrong, looking to turn consistent laps into unexpected podiums and wins.
#74 — Trent
The Aggressor. If there is a bumper in the mirror, it’s probably Trent. Known for applying immense pressure to the leader, the #74 is a constant threat for the win and refuses to settle for second.
#20 — Flamingo (Part-Time)
The Veteran. Bringing major success from the Gen 4 era, Flamingo is stepping into the #20 to see if that old-school mechanical grip expertise translates to Gen 6 glory.
What to Expect:
The Safety Kleen Series promises "late Gen 6 action," meaning we will be tackling the high-downforce, high-drag packages that produce close pack racing. Our setups are being dialed in, and the liveries are being finalized in the paint booth.
Catch us on track soon as we look to bring home the hardware for GR Aetherwing.

DRIVER NEWS: Aetherwing eMotorsports Signs Veteran Talent Clutch to Part-Time Entry in Kmart Cup Series
Aetherwing eMotorsports is proud to announce the latest addition to our driver lineup for the remainder of the season. We have officially signed Clutch, the owner of Star Clutch Racing, to pilot a part-time entry in the Roblox Kmart Cup Series.
A Strategic Signing
This signing marks a significant moment for the team as we look to expand our footprint in the Kmart Cup Series. Clutch brings a wealth of knowledge and on-track discipline that aligns perfectly with Aetherwing’s competitive goals.
While Aetherwing eMotorsports typically routes new talent through our established Driver Development Program, team management made the decision to sign Clutch directly to the main roster.
Bypassing the Development Program
The decision to bypass the development phase was based on Clutch’s extensive résumé. As the owner of Star Clutch Racing and a proven competitor with impressive past performances in various other leagues, Clutch has demonstrated the racecraft and consistency required to compete immediately at the top level.
"We look at every driver’s history individually," said a team representative. "Clutch’s track record speaks for itself. His experience running his own organization, combined with his raw speed shown in previous seasons, proved that he is ready to jump straight into the seat for the Kmart Cup Series."
Looking Ahead
Clutch will be running a select schedule of races this season. The team is confident that his presence will not only result in strong finishes but also provide valuable feedback to the rest of the crew.
Please join us in welcoming Clutch to the Aetherwing family!
Aetherwing teams with Nico Goated Motorsports to Pilot the Aetherwing Driver Development Program
In the world of RoRacing, finding speed is one thing—but finding the consistency, racecraft, and league knowledge to win championships is another. At Aetherwing eMotorsports, we are committed to building the next generation of top-tier drivers, and today, we are making a major move to ensure that happens.
Effective immediately, Nico Goated Motorsports (NGM) has been selected to officially pilot the Aetherwing Driver Development Program.
Under this new strategic alliance, NGM will take the wheel of our development operations. They will handle the team management, strategy, and race-day execution for our roster of rising stars as they compete in the toughest series on the platform.
A New Operational Model
This is more than just a sticker on a car. We surveyed the RoRacing landscape to find a team that understands the meta, the physics, and the mental game required to run up front. NGM was the clear choice.
By having Nico Goated Motorsports pilot this program, Aetherwing allows our development drivers to step into a proven system. NGM will oversee the day-to-day competition management, ensuring our rookies have the support they need to develop their skills effectively.
Targeting the Top Series
The goal of this program is to prepare drivers for the highest level of competition. As such, the Aetherwing Driver Development cars—fielded by NGM—will be focusing their efforts on the premier leagues in the community.
You will see the program in full force competing in:
• NRRS (National Roblox Racing Series)
• The Roblox Kmart Cup Series
These leagues represent the gold standard of competition. By placing our development drivers here under the guidance of NGM, we are ensuring they are battle-tested against the best fields in RoRacing.
The View from the Team
"RoRacing is incredibly competitive right now. To truly develop talent, we needed a partner who knows exactly what it takes to win in these specific physics and leagues. Nico Goated Motorsports is that partner. We are handing them the keys to our development program because we trust their ability to mold raw talent into race winners in the NRRS and Kmart Cup."
— Founder, Aetherwing eMotorsports
What’s Next?
The work begins immediately. You will see our development drivers, supported by the NGM crew, hitting the track in the upcoming rounds of the NRRS and Roblox Kmart Cup Series.
We’ll see you in Victory Lane.
Aetherwing eMotorsports releases Player_13 following review of NRRS Coke 600
Effective immediately, Aetherwing eMotorsports has terminated the contract of driver Player_13. He has been removed from the Aetherwing roster and will no longer represent our organization in any future competitions.
The Incident
This decision stems from a review of the final lap of the NRRS Coke 600.
Entering Turn 1 and 2, a racing situation developed involving Aetherwing team founder Wispy and competitor Outlaw. While the two cars became tangled, the situation was recoverable. However, telemetry and replay review show that Player_13—who was competing in the event for Nico Goated Motorsports—failed to lift or exercise necessary caution.
Instead of mitigating the damage, Player_13 remained at full throttle, driving directly into the back of Outlaw. This reckless decision compounded the incident, forcefully turning Wispy further and completely destroying a race-winning run on the final lap.
Our Stance
While Player_13 was fielding an entry for Nico Goated Motorsports (NGM) during this event, his status as an Aetherwing driver holds him to a standard of conduct across all sim-racing activities. We want to be clear: Aetherwing eMotorsports holds no ill will toward Nico or the NGM organization. Our relationship with their team remains positive.
However, we cannot retain a driver who demonstrates such a severe lack of situational awareness and respect for fellow competitors—especially when that recklessness directly targets the leadership of his own home team.
We wish Player_13 the best in his future endeavors, but they will not be with Aetherwing.
— Aetherwing eMotorsports Management
Wispy Scores First Career Win in NRRS Season 2 All-Star Race
Wispy is officially a race winner!
In a wild NRRS Season 2 All-Star Race, the driver of the Aetherwing eMotorsports #28 broke through for his first ever career victory, surviving chaos, strategy calls, and a late charge from the field to take the checkered flag in the non-points showcase.
The All-Star format kept the entire grid on edge, with segment breaks, resets, and plenty of opportunities for bold calls on pit road. Wispy and the team played it steady early, focusing on track position and clean exits, before committing to an aggressive strategy for the final stage. A well-timed stop and strong restart pace put the #28 firmly inside the top three with laps winding down.
On the final run, Wispy cleared traffic, defended the high lane, and controlled the tempo of the race while the pack behind fought for second. A late push from rivals wasn’t enough to unseat the Aetherwing entry, and the #28 crossed the line first to lock in Wispy’s long-awaited maiden win in NRRS competition.
While the All-Star Race doesn’t pay out championship points, the result is a major confidence boost for both driver and team. For Wispy, it’s a statement moment: proof that the pace, racecraft, and strategy are all there — and that the #28 is ready to fight for full-season wins when the next NRRS points race goes green.
Player_13 Wins Chaotic Kmart All-Star Showdown After Final-Lap Drama
The 2025 Kmart All-Star Showdown at Darlington delivered exactly what fans expect from an All-Star race — chaos, drama, and a finish nobody could’ve predicted.
The closing laps came down to a fierce three-way battle between Jaxon, Player_13, and Wispy. But on the final lap, everything unraveled. Entering Turns 3 and 4, Jaxon sent his truck into an aggressive divebomb that failed to stick, triggering a massive crash that collected half the field. As the pack scattered, Jaxon shoved Player_13 into the outside wall on corner exit, dragging both cars toward the line in a tangle of sheet metal.
Race control reviewed the incident, and after a full post-race ruling, Jaxon was officially disqualified for avoidable race manipulation — handing the All-Star victory to Player_13, who ran in the back for much of the event before the late-race fireworks.
Behind the chaos, Wispy slipped through the wreck to secure an unexpected but well-earned second-place finish, marking his best result of the Kmart Cup season.
The Darlington All-Star Showdown delivered everything but calm — and with the playoff stretch approaching, tensions across the grid have never been higher.

Jaxon Breaks Through at Iowa — Aetherwing Scores First NRRS Win of the Season
Aetherwing Claims Its First NRRS Win of the Season
Aetherwing eMotorsports earned a huge breakthrough at Iowa Speedway, with Jaxon capturing the team’s first NRRS victory of the 2nd season after an intense and strategic late-race battle.
For much of the event, Player_13 looked poised to secure the win after leading a strong portion of the race. But as the laps counted down, the dynamic shifted — and Jaxon found himself in position to strike.
Closing In: The Chase Begins
With tire wear settling in and the long-run pace becoming crucial, both Jaxon and Nico began reeling in Player_13 during the final stretch.
The once-secure lead evaporated as the three drivers tightened into a single battling pack.
Inside the final 10 laps, the gap between them disappeared, setting the stage for a dramatic finish.
Aetherwing vs. NGM: A 2v1 Shootout
After clearing Player_13, Jaxon took control at the front — but immediately came under fire.
Nico, carrying strong pace for NGM, slipped into second place and launched a series of attacks on the #3 Toyota.

Both drivers trading momentum
Multiple attempts from Nico to get alongside
Jaxon defending flawlessly and maintaining composure
It was a clean, disciplined fight — the kind that defines championship-caliber racing.
Sealing the Victory
Despite relentless pressure, Jaxon held on and crossed the line first, giving Aetherwing:
• Their first NRRS win of the season
• A huge momentum boost heading into the All-Star stretch
• A key victory over rival NGM
• A statement of growth in team pace and execution
This win marks a major milestone for the organization as the season continues.
A Statement for the Road Ahead
The Iowa victory didn’t just give Aetherwing points — it affirmed the team’s upward trajectory in NRRS competition.
With Jaxon delivering under pressure and the roster finding stronger pace week by week, the team looks ahead with confidence.
More races, more battles and more chances to soar.

The 2025–26 Roblox Kmart Cup Series season opened with a spectacular victory for Aetherwing eMotorsports as Flamingo drove the #22 Apex Sim Racing Chevrolet to the win in the prestigious Daytona 500 on September 22nd, 2025.
This race was anything but straightforward. With drafting partnerships deciding the outcome in the closing laps, Flamingo and teammate Will (#94) executed flawless teamwork. The pair locked bumpers and pushed away from the field after the final restart, creating a two-car breakaway that no one behind could match.
On the white flag lap, Will protected Flamingo’s rear quarter panel, holding off a late charge from one of the rival teams and ensuring the #22 car remained stable through Turns 3 and 4. Flamingo took the checkered flag with Will finishing a strong 2nd place, giving Aetherwing a dominant 1–2 sweep at one of the most important races of the season.
