Waggoner Sweeps Michigan Double
Nicholas Waggoner followed up his NASCAR iRacing Series Michigan win by capturing the NASCAR Class C Series - Fixed truck race, completing a two-win Michigan weekend for Aetherwing.
After an emotional victory in the NASCAR iRacing Series earlier in the weekend, Waggoner returned to Michigan and finished the job again — this time in truck competition — turning Michigan International Speedway into one of the defining weekends of his 2026 season.

From a Friday night photo finish to a Sunday truck victory, Waggoner left Michigan with one of the strongest weekends of his iRacing career.
Nicholas Waggoner closed out an unforgettable Michigan weekend by winning the NASCAR Class C Series - Fixed race at Michigan International Speedway on June 7, 2026. The victory came just two days after his emotional NASCAR iRacing Series win at the same track, giving him a clean Michigan double across Cup-style and Truck-style iRacing competition.
Driving the #71 Ally Chevrolet Silverado, Waggoner started from the pole after posting a 40.104 qualifying lap. The race ran 30 laps, featured three cautions for nine caution laps, and carried a 1237 strength of field.
The win mattered beyond the result sheet. On June 5, Waggoner won the NASCAR iRacing Series race at Michigan in a 0.029-second photo finish while driving the #28 Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Toyota. On June 7, he returned to the same speedway and backed it up with a truck victory, turning the weekend into a signature Aetherwing moment.
The truck victory also marked Aetherwing’s 25th recorded team win, giving the Michigan double a clean milestone attached to it. Between the emotional Rowdy dedication from Friday and the truck win on Sunday, Michigan became more than a good weekend — it became a record-book weekend.
