Aetherwing Scores 1-2 in Kmart Cup Daytona 500

Aetherwing’s first points-paying victory did not come alone. It came as a statement.

On September 22, 2025, Flamingo captured the Kmart Cup Series Season 1 Daytona 500, driving the #22 Chevrolet to Victory Lane in one of the biggest early moments in Aetherwing eMotorsports history.

The finish became even bigger because Flamingo was not alone at the front. Teammate Will, driving the #94 Chevrolet, pushed the #22 home and crossed the line second, locking down a dramatic Aetherwing 1-2 finish in the Daytona 500.

Superspeedway races are often decided by trust. One driver has to commit to the lead, another has to stay locked on the bumper, and both have to believe the move will hold all the way to the stripe. In the closing run at Daytona, Flamingo and Will made that trust pay off.

Flamingo’s win gave Aetherwing its first points-paying victory, while Will’s runner-up finish turned the result into something bigger than a single-car celebration. It was a team result, a crown jewel result, and one of the first true proof points that Aetherwing could execute when the moment was at its loudest.
