The NRRS Season 2 All-Star Race became the breakthrough night for Hailey, as the #28 Aetherwing entry survived a chaotic non-points showcase and reached Victory Lane for the first recorded RoRacing win of the career.
The All-Star format brought segment breaks, resets, and repeated opportunities for strategy to change the running order, making execution as important as raw pace.
The Final Stage
Hailey and the team kept the opening portions controlled, prioritizing track position and clean exits before committing to a more aggressive plan for the final stage. A well-timed stop and strong restart pace put the #28 inside the top three as the race moved toward its finish.
On the final run, Hailey cleared traffic, defended the high lane, and controlled the race while the battle behind developed. The late pressure was not enough to take the lead away, and the #28 crossed the line first.
A Breakthrough Beyond the Points
