Aetherwing’s future roster now has a clearer road in.
Aetherwing eMotorsports has announced a strategic partnership with Nico Goated Motorsports, the team owned by Nico, to help pilot the organization’s Driver Development Program.
The program is designed to become the entry point for new talent looking to work their way toward Aetherwing’s primary roster. Rather than bringing every driver directly into the main team immediately, Aetherwing will use the development structure to scout, evaluate, and prepare drivers before they are considered for larger opportunities.
Through the NGM partnership, the development program will focus on giving drivers room to grow in competitive environments tied to NRRS and Kmart Cup Series competition. The goal is not just to find speed, but to identify drivers who can fit the larger Aetherwing culture.
Aetherwing’s development focus will center on three key traits: consistency, availability, and attitude. Results matter, but the team will also be watching how drivers handle race craft, preparation, communication, and long-term commitment.
Successful drivers in the program may be considered for reserve or primary roster opportunities, giving the partnership a clear purpose beyond a simple alliance announcement.
The NGM partnership gives Aetherwing a more structured way to develop talent instead of relying only on direct signings. It creates a middle step between outside competition and the primary roster, allowing drivers to prove they can fit the organization before moving up.
With Nico Goated Motorsports helping serve as a development partner, Aetherwing gains a stronger foundation for future roster growth across its NRRS and Kmart Cup efforts.
